It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Victoria Baker, a beloved mother, grandmother, and Aunt, who peacefully left this world on May 30, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on April 26, 1935, in San Juan, New Mexico, Victoria's life was a testament to love, generosity, and a spirit of unwavering kindness.
Victoria was predeceased by her loving husband, Sid Baker; her cherished daughter, Diane Molina; her Beloved mother, Sophia Villas; her dear son, Danny Baker; her adored granddaughter, Yvonne Luna; her beloved grandson, Jason Baca; and her precious great-grandson, Matthew Baker. Despite these profound losses, Victoria’s resilience was a source of strength for her family and all who knew her.
She is survived by her devoted sons, Vernon Baker and Sid Baker, and her treasured grandchildren: Michelle Tolentino, Christine Molina, Danny Baker, Joseph Garcia Baker, John Morris, Amanda Baker, Crystal Baker, Chantell Garcia Baker, Sylvia Baker, Isaiah Baker, Gage Baker and Hailey Baker.Victoria also leaves behind a legacy of 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson and many neices and nephews who loved her dearly and will carry forward the love and lessons she instilled in them.
Victoria's life was dedicated to caring for others, embodying the roles of a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly in hosting family gatherings, cooking her famous biscuits and gravy, and spending time with her siblings. Her home was always open, ready to welcome family in times of need, and her heart was an abundance of love and support.
A woman of many gifts, Victoria found peace in nature and cherished visiting her sister’s ranch in San Juan. And spending time with all her family. Her vibrant presence and compassionate nature touched the lives of many, leaving an unforgettable mark on the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.
The family would like to thank Peggy Sweet and Brenda Gonzalez for there love and care they provided for Victoria in her last yeaars. We thank you and appreciate all you did.
A service to honor Victoria's life will be held on June 12, 2026,Rosary at 9:00 AM Funeral Mass at 10am San Miguel del Vado Church, Sagebrush Way, Ribera, NM 87560. interment will follow in San Juan.
Victoria Baker will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, compassion, and resilience will live on in the hearts and memories of all who knew her.
