It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Vincenzo “Enzo” Pepe, age 73, on May 24, 2025, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Born on September 2, 1951, in Sant’Egidio del Monte Albino, Italy, Enzo brought warmth, wisdom, and deep love to everyone blessed to know him.
Enzo was the beloved son of Alfonso Pepe and Anna Maria Terracciano, and brother to Adriana Teto, all of whom preceded him in death. He is survived by his cherished sister Carmela Forrisi, his loving brother Salvatore Pepe, the love of his life, Cathy Fernandez, and his children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of extended family and lifelong friends who will carry his memory in their hearts.
He completed high school in the City of Nocera, Italy, and later pursued further education at Humber College in Toronto, Canada. A gifted and passionate hairstylist and carpenter for over 50 years, Enzo was a true artisan, bringing creativity, precision, and heart to everything he touched.
Beyond his work, Enzo found joy in the simple and beautiful things in life—cooking, gardening, hunting, and tasting fine wines. He was a proud member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, where his faith remained a cornerstone throughout his life.
To know Enzo was to know kindness, generosity, and laughter. He had a way of making every person feel seen, loved, and at home. His legacy will live on in the meals he shared, the gardens he nurtured, the homes he built, and the countless lives he touched.
A message from his beloved Cathy and family:
"With sincere gratitude, we send our most heartfelt thanks for your kind expressions of sympathy during our recent loss. Your thoughtfulness and support have brought us comfort during this difficult time. Your kindness will always be remembered."
Please try not to be sad for me.
Try to understand.
God is taking care of me…
I’m in the shelter of His hands.
