Viola Kippel

Viola R. Kippel, 81, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt passed away peacefully at home on October 6, 2025 after a courageous battle with ALS. Vi was known for her endless love and dedication to her family, her teaching career, and her pets.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Dan Knippel; her son Timothy Parker and daughter Amanda Kippel, granddaughter Alyssa Wong and grandson Dominic Otero. She is also survived by her brothers, Jacob, Peter, Abe, and Lacko Romero, and her sister Clara. Vi also leaves many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Her beautiful energy, strength, compassion and love will always be remembered by the many lives she touched throughout her life.

A celebration of Vi's life will be held at Gate of Heaven chapel on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 10:00, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE Albuquerque, NM 87109
