Virginia is survived by her beloved daughter Amie Brooks and her cherished son-in-law Daniel Brooks, both of whom brought immense joy to her life. Her heart swelled with pride for her grandchildren, Shane and Hailee Brooks, whose laughter and achievements lit up her world. The bond she shared with her family was the anchor of her existence, a source of strength that propelled her through the ebbs and flows of life's journey.

A Prayer Service will take place at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Rio Rancho on July 8, 2025, at 10:30 AM. The following week, she will be interred at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on July 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM, where she will rest for eternity with the love that defined her life.
