Virginia L. Morgan

After a challenging few months battling complicated medical issues, Virginia L. Morgan passed away July 12, 2023 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. 

Daughter to Guadalupe (Garcia) Romero and Henry C. Romero, she was born May 12, 1943 in Santa Fe, New Mexico and attended the New Mexico State University where she was a member of the Delta Zeta sorority.  

Virginia worked for the Internal Revenue Service for almost 30 years both in Albuquerque and Cincinnati, Ohio. 

She enjoyed making memories with family and friends, cooking and baking and over the years attending services and fellowship events at Heights First Church of the Nazarene and Springdale Church of the Nazarene. 

Virginia is survived by her three children Lichele Peete (Phred McAllaster), Jason Peete (Debra) and Jeremiah Morgan.  Virginia was blessed with six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Mom fought the good fight to the end but the last six months were just too much for her little body and she was ready to meet God. 

A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 24, 2023, 9 am, at Daniel’s Funeral home at 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE, with internment immediately after at Gate of Heaven.
