She was the young 62 year old independent, loving wife and mother of two, who started her life doing a little traveling ending up in California, where she met and fell in love with her loving husband Hector. After giving birth to two sons the family moved back to Placitas, where she continued to raise her family. Virginia suffered a major stroke on April 30, 2010 and even though she lost the ability to communicate, she was still able to comfort her family by hugging them. To those who knew Virginia she lightened their lives through her character, humor, singing voice and her down right lovingness.
