Vivien H. Seals

Vivien H. Chavez-Seals, age 65, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed unexpectedly, Friday, January 24, 2014. She was born and raised in Corrales, NM. Vivien graduated from Valley High School. She retired from the Sandoval County Sheriff�s Department. As a retiree she enjoyed creating photo albums to preserve memories for family and friends. Vivien was generous with her time and genuinely caring toward others. She was preceded in death by her father, Vivian Chavez. Vivien is survived by her loving children, Patrick Perea, Marcos Abeyta, and Amber Ward; seven precious grandchildren, Leah, Avencio, Mario Jr., Dominic, Marlo, Jacinda and Joseph. Also surviving are her loving mother, Lillie Chavez; her brothers, David Chavez and wife Sharon, Rudolph Chavez and wife Gloria, Steve Chavez and girlfriend, Karen Martin, Michael Chavez and wife Brenda; and other numerous relatives and friends. Vivien will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose hearts she touched. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at San Ysidro Catholic Church in Corrales, NM, where a Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment will then take place at Vista Verde Memorial Park in Rio Rancho. Casket Bearers will be David Chavez, Rudy Chavez, Michael Chavez, Steve Chavez, Tom Cooley, and John Paul Trujillo. Honorary Bearers will be Rob Neutzaling, Beverly McWaters, Jean and Duane Schneider, and Tim Lucero. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that Memorial Masses in Vivien's loving memory be enrolled at San Ysidro Catholic Church in Corrales, NM.
