Wanda Lee Husman

Wanda Lee Husman died on January 23, 2023 in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the age of 81.

Wanda was born on February 24, 1941 in Nevada City, California to Mary Emma De Bray and Robert Bruce Chidester.

Wanda is preceded in death by her Father, Robert Bruce Chidester, her mother Mary Emma De Bray Chidester, her brothers George Arwin Chidester and John Marshall Chidester, her half-brother Billy “Red” Klein, her husband, Vern Husman, and her niece Sharon Moseley.

Wanda is survived by her daughters Heidi Lynne Husman, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Stephanie Clare Husman, Albuquerque, New Mexico, her son Bruce Wade Husman, Albuquerque, New Mexico, her sister in Montana, two nephews and a niece in Montana, her nieces Betty Jean Bains-Jordan (John), Anchorage, Alaska, and Roseanne De Witt, Anchorage, Alaska, Grand children Hayden and Morgan Husman, Great grandchildren Ezra and Riley Husman, and her beloved pets, Bear and Rogue.

Wanda graduated from Cut Bank High School in 1959. She married Vern Lynn Husman on May 10, 1963, in Indianapolis, Indiana and they were married for 33 years.

Wanda attended El Paso Community College and received her Associate Degree in Nursing in 1984. Wanda worked for the State of New Mexico for 12 years.

Wanda loved reading and playing bingo. She was an active and dedicated member of the St. Thomas Aquinas Church.

A visitation is scheduled from 6:00-8:00pm on February 9, 2023, at Daniels Family Funeral Services – Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico, 87124.

A Rosary will be recited on February 10, 2023, at 10:00am at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, 1502 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico, 87124.

A Funeral Service will follow the rosary at 10:30am at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, 1502 Sara Road, SE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico, 87124.

Burial will take place at 12:00pm on February 10, 2023, at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Road, SE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico, 87124.

After the burial, a reception will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish, Father De Arco Hall, 1502 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico 87124.
