Warren Akerson

Warren Akerson

Age 76, passed away Monday, July 23, 2018. He was born in Hannibal, Missouri

on December 10, 1941, to Arthur and Ruth Akerson.  Warren graduated with a

B.A. and Masters in Finance from the University of Missouri. Warren proudly

served his country as a Lieutenant Commander with the U.S. Navy. He was

preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ruth Akerson and nephews, Matthew

and Clint Lesser. Warren is survived by his loving wife, Loretta Akerson of

Albuquerque, NM, children; Michael Akerson with wife Lisa, David Akerson and

wife Christina, Charlotte Akerson, and Jaden Akerson, grandchildren; Sabrina,

Avery, Kenzie, and Brooklyn, and sister, Jane Leeser. Rosary and Services will be

held at 9:30 a.m., Monday, July 30,2018 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.

following interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery a reception will be held at Prince

of Peace Catholic Church.  In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Warren's

honor to the Akerson Family Charitable Foundation.
