DAVES, Wayne Daves, 79, a resident of Albuquerque, NM went home to be with our Lord on Sunday April 25, 2010. Wayne was born in Clapham, NM. to Elmer Joel and Roxie Ann Daves on January 25, 1931. Wayne grew up in the Amistad and Clayton areas and gradated from high school in Clayton NM. Wayne served in the US Army and received a metal for serving in Korea that was presented by Congress Heather Wilson. He attended college at West Texas State University. Wayne was the owner/operator of C & D Pest Control. Wayne was a member of the following organizations: Hiram Lodge #13 AF & AM, San Marcial #34 OES and Amaranth, Inc. and La Mesa Court #3. He was also a volunteer at the VA Chapel. Wayne was known for his joking mannerism and his love for God. He read his bible daily. Wayne enjoyed talking about sports, camping, fishing and watching the Lobos play ball. He loved his family and spending time with them all but above all he truly enjoyed his time spent with his only grandson. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; Elmer and Roxie Daves. Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Clara May Daves; one daughter Dorlaska May Cammack and husband Brian Wayne, his only grandson, Trentan Wayne, sisters Bonnie Casey and husband James of Buffalo, Mo; Betty Watters and husband Bill of Clayton, NM; brothers, Dale Daves and wife Linda of Dumas, TX; Donald Daves and wife Glenna of Buffalo, Mo; and Kay Daves the wife of deceased brother, Tracey Daves an aunt; Nettie Faircloth of Huntington OR; brother-in-laws; Harold Dean Jones of El Cajon, Ca and George Gene Jones and wife Sharol of Pinellas Park, FL; and numerous family and friends.Pallbeares are: Trentan Cammack, Brian Cammack, Stephen Winters, Caesar Winters, Brandon Hollenbeck and Jeremy Hollenbeck.
