Wilburn Carrol Allen

Wilburn Carrol Allen, who is proceeded in death by his wife Jennie. He is survived by his Son - Patrick and his wife Patricia and his daughter Sarah Thomas and her husband Mark. He has 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren. Carrol was born in Alamosa, CO, raised on a homestead as a rancher, moved to Glenwood Springs, CO. Joined the US Navy where he became a water tender on the USS Juneau. After the war he became a self taught welder where he worked most of his life as heavy equipment mechanic/ welder. He retired in Farmington where he spent the rest of his time raising fainting goats, travelled to Colorado/Texas to see the old country. He passed away Saturday November 10th, he is now with his wife and his 17yr old Border Collie companion Bud. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018 – 11:00 AM at Vista Verde Memorial Park, Rio Rancho, NM.
