William Arthur Cross

October 6, 1953 — February 4, 2011

William Arthur "Bill" Cross, 57, of Farmington, went to his Heavenly Father on Friday, February 4, 2011, in Farmington. He was born October 26, 1953, to Charles and Carmen Cross in Denver, Colorado. His valiant fight is over at last and he is at peace. He was a Boy Scout and he took to heart the lessons, skills, and morals that the organization offered. Those early years prepared him well enough to take on leadership for his sons' Scout Packs. He was a craftsman and was taught the woodworking craft by his father and grandfather. Bill, along with his dad, uncle, brother and cousin, spent many hours tinkering over car engines. Bill was a man of God and his faith was the foundation of his life. He was a member of Cross of Hope Lutheran Church, United Church of Farmington, and finally Trinity Lutheran Church. His faith walk was, and will continue to be, an inspiration to his family and friends. Bill was an avid golfer, and proud owner of his boat, Rapscallion, on which he enjoyed crusing Navajo Lake. We will miss his infectious grin, his ability to make us all laugh and his "inventions". He was preceded in death by his father. Bill is survived by his mother; his wife of 20 years, Terri; daughters, Meghan and Courtney Cross; sons, Cody Cross and Geoffrey Davis; brother, Bruce Cross; sisters, Bobbie Anderson and Bonnie Warnica; two grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to San Juan Medical Foundation for the Connley House, P.O. Box 110, Farmington, NM 87499. Arrangements are with: Daniels Family Funeral Services 804 N. Dustin Ave Farmington, NM 87401 (505) 326-3671
