William T. Perea

Wiliam  T. Perea 
William Perea, 95, passed away in Albuquerque, NM, on Friday November 19,2021. He was born in Bernalillo, NM on February 10, 1926, later settling in Albuquerque, NM.

He was a Veteran, enlisting in the United States Navy in 1943 and serving during WWII and honorably discharged in 1945 after achieving the rank of Aviation Ordinanceman 3rd Class.

William then enrolled at a local business college where he met Esmeralda Flores and they were married on August 27, 1948. He was employed by Sandia National Laboratories for over 38 years. William received numerous promotions and was professionally recognized throughout his career.

William is survived by his 6 children: Rosalie Tierney, Thomas Perea, Carolyn Emerson, Roberta Russell, William Perea, and Robert Perea, his 8 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. 

His wife, Esmeralda Perea, preceded him in death on November 12, 2021. 

William was a lifelong member of the Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.

His viewing will take place on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Daniels Family Funeral Services, 7601Wyoming NE. 

A Rosary will be recited on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 9:30 am at the Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11509 Indian School Road NE. Followed by a Mass at 10:00 am and interment at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1920 Edith Blvd NE.
