William O. “Bill” Trotter, 92, of Farmington, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2010 in Farmington. He was born October 8, 1918 in Braddock, PA. Bill retired as a Captain in the U.S. Army and served during WWII. He pursued a second career in food service after retirement. Bill and Bunny followed their children to Farmington in 1971 calling it home. He volunteered for many years at San Juan Regional Medical Center in the Auxiliary. He was a lifetime member of the BPOE in Farmington and was deeply involved with youth activities locally. Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Verna “Bunny” Trotter, his parents, Arthur William Trotter and Helen Rogers Trotter, a brother Buddy Trotter, and 2 grandchildren, Jean Louise Mahnken and Sherry Lynn Trotter. He is survived by sons, William L. Trotter and Ralph E. Trotter (Virginia) and grandchildren, Linda Trotter, Audrey Quintero (Jaime), Sean Trotter (Juliann), Dana Isabelle (Chris) and Tim Trotter (Michelle). Also surviving are 10 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
