William Harold Waldorf

May 28, 1962 — January 1, 2023

Family and Friends, it is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of our beloved Bill Waldorf (Wally) of Rio Rancho NM. Bill was born May 28, 1962, in Los Angeles California; he died January 01, 2023. Bill grew up in Las Lunas New Mexico. In 1989 Bill joined the Army National Guard and proudly served until he retired in 2009. He was very proud of his service and for those he served with.

Bill was known by many different names, William, Bill, Wally, Pops, and Dad. Bill found much joy spending time outdoors skiing, camping and drinking his favorite beers. Bill was so gifted and talented, he would take on any challenge he could. He could build almost anything he could put his mind to. He found much pleasure and passion serving his loved ones and was a beautiful grandfather to his grandchildren. He had such a great sense of humor and was known to be goofy, funny, humble and all around loving. Bill loved his wife Lorena and they shared a very special and passionate love for one another. Bill was loved by many and he loved and was proud of all his daughters.  Bill had many daughters, from his biological to his step daughters. He was loved by every single one of them. Bill used to say God had a sense of humor because he wished to be surrounded by women and he was given lots of daughters instead.

Bill is proceeded in death by his Step-Father Jay Whitlow, his Grandson Kenneth McDowell Jr., Brother in Law Jerry Urban and his Best Friend Herman Murillo. He is survived by his Wife Lorena Waldorf, his Mother Ann Whitlow, Brother Thomas Waldorf, Brother and Sister in Law Freddie and Maura Villalovos, his Daughters Heather Torch, Leanna Waldorf, Serena Waldorf, Step Daughters Brandice Long, Lena Long, Amanda Esquibel, Anette Arvizu, Anyssa Villalovos, Allie Villalovos-Castex and Step-son Andres Arvizu (also the best man at his wedding).  Grandchildren Tristan, Jasmine, Ashton, and Easton Torch; Melissa, Jayden Madison, Lucian Waldorf and Shianna McDowell. Nephew and Nieces Dakota Waldorf, Heather Waldorf and Brianna Waldorf.

Bill’s humble heart will be missed, and though his life was cut short on earth, he left a mark on us that will forever remain in our hearts.
