Willis Walton Douthett

DOUTHETT - Willis Walton ("Walt") Douthett, born April 13, 1918, died September 25, 2010, after a brief illness. A veteran of World War II and an accomplished electrical engineer, he was the loving husband for 68 years of Eunice, who predeceased him; devoted father of Christine DiBello of Rio Rancho, NM, Claire Walsh of Laurel, MD, and Jill Douthett of Corrales, NM; and the doting grandfather of James Walsh of Nashua, NH, Colleen Uhlenhopp of Charlestown, WV, and Amy DiBello and Anne Dibello of Albuquerque, NM, and great-grandfather of Brynna Walsh and Heather and Marcus Uhlenhopp. We will love him, and miss him, forever. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Rio Rancho on Monday, October 4, 2010, at 10:30 a.m., with interment to follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Felix Pantry at 4020 Barbara Loop SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124, would be most appreciated.
