Wilson Maclay

Wilson Maclay, 78, of Rio Rancho, NM, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025, after a brief illness. Wilson was born in Manila, Philippines on February 26, 1947. Wilson is survived by his wife of 38 years, Trixie; his sisters, Annie Lay and Nancy Lay, of the Philippines.

Wilson was preceded in death by his brother William Lay; Joe; his sister, Jueny Liao, and his brother Wellman Lay.

Wilson had a heart that gave without question and a spirit that lifted everyone around him: his kindness, generosity and quiet strength touched so many lives in ways that words can hardly capture.

A Celebration of Life will take place at High Desert United Methodist Church, 1201 Golf Course Rd, Rio Rancho, NM, on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Rev. Reuben Thomas will officiate. A Reception will follow.

In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Wilson’s memory to High Desert Food Pantry, and/or Feed New Mexico Kids.
