Winona "Nonie" Gleason

Winona "Nonie" Gleason, age 62, passed away April 21, 2023 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, surrounded by those who loved her dearly.  She was born March 30, 1961 to Mildred and Albert Perkins in Lander, Wyoming.  She received her Bachelors degree and was a Budget Analyst employed by the United States Forest Service for 37 years.  Nonie loved her grandchildren, and they truly were her happiness.  She enjoyed lunch times with her daughter, Jolyn.  She loved gardening, however, there was nothing more important to Winona than spending time with her family she loved so dearly.  

Winona is survived by her daughter, Jolyn Gleason; grandchildren, Chloe De Santiago and Ozil De Santiago, son-in-law, Heriberto De Santiago, all of Albuquerque, NM; and her fur baby (14 yr. old pet dog), Snookie.

Services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, May 1, 2023, Daniels Family Funeral Services - Southern Chapel, 2400 Southern Blvd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.  Interment to follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Rd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
