Yvon Vonnie"" M. Offerle

Yvon M. Offerle May 1, 1933 - July 23, 2010 Yvon “Vonnie” Offerle, 77, of Farmington, passed away peacefully at her home on July 23, 2010. She was born May, 1, 1933 in Silverton, Oregon. Vonnie married R.W. “Bob” Offerle in Meeker, Colorado. They were married 53 years. Vonnie was an active youth advocate, involved in Methodist Young Fellowship, scouting and 4H. She was a member of Beta Signa Phi and San Juan County Extension Club. She loved gardening, mushroom hunting, fishing, bird watching, finding four leaf clovers, sewing, painting, attending San Juan College Arts Programs, and everything in nature. Vonnie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband R.W. “Bob” Offerle; sisters, Delores Skerl, Eleanor Wegener, Laura Kinnamon; and foster brother, Robert Strobl. She is survived by her four children, Nancy (Tom) Roberts, Phillip (Gloria) Offerle, Todd (Rita) Offerle, and Russell (Debbie) Offerle; sisters, Jean Kinder and Mary Stack, and foster sister, Carole Strobl; nine grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren.
