Bertha Priscilla Martinez

Martinez, Bertha P., 75 , of Rio Rancho, formerly of Santa Fe, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2019. Bertha was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandma, sister, aunt, Godmother, and friend. She is preceded in death by her loving father and mother Martin and Erminia Mora. Bertha is survived by her loving husband Jose Abelino Martinez, children, David Martinez and spouse, Sheila Martinez, Johnny Martinez and spouse, Rosemary Martinez, Rosalie Martinez Montiel and spouse Abdul Montiel; grandchildren, Danielle Martinez , David Martinez, Aaron Montiel, Jimmy Montoya Martinez, Julie Martinez, Samantha Martinez; great grandchild, Jayden Jujuem Martinez; siblings, Betty Chavez and spouse, Willie Chavez, Viola Herrera and spouse, Isidro Herrera, George Mora and spouse, Molly Mora, Robert Mora and spouse Christine Mora, Toby Mora, Geraldine Van De Valde, Michael Mora and spouse, Viola Sanchez, Marie Anaya and spouse Billy Anaya. A Visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00 pm on Thursday, July 11, 2019, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 pm, at the Church of the Incarnation Catholic Church, 2309 Monterrey Rd. NE, Rio Rancho, NM, 87144 . Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Friday, July 12, 2019, also at Church of the Incarnation Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park. Reception to follow Internment at the Church of the Incarnation Parish Hall. Pallbearers will be David Martinez, David Martinez Jr, Johnny Martinez, Abdul Montiel, Toby Mora, and Jimmy Montoya Martinez . Honorary Pallbearer is Jacqueline Anaya. The Martinez family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and support during this difficult time.
