Beverly Mountain

March 24, 1936 ~ May 3, 2022 (age 86)

Beverly Mountain returned to her Heavenly Father and many beloved family members after living a long and enriched life on this earth.

She was passionate about genealogy, adding hundreds of ancestors to her family tree. She loved to learn and spent much of her free time reading about her ancestor’s homelands and customs. Her passion for the history and anthropology of all people led her to increase her knowledge and develop many skills associated with those cultures. As an artisan, she was a weaver of baskets and textiles, made jewelry and tried her hand at many other mediums. She shared her knowledge often and taught others within her community and family.

As a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, she was kind, thoughtful, and always tried to lift the burdens of others. She served in many roles at church where she was able to further share her skills and lead with love. Even in challenging times, she turned to her faith and desire to serve others.

She found her greatest joy in her family. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband Robert “Bob” Mountain. Together they leave a posterity of five children, thirty-two grandchildren, and sixty great and great-great-grandchildren. Neither distance nor circumstances could ever separate her from her love for all of them. She connected us to our history and celebrated the joys of our futures.
