Charles H. Milks

MILKS-Charles H. Milks Sr., 89, Beloved husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Brother, past away peacefully on Saturday, November 3, 2018. Charles was born the son of Harland and Elsa Milks in Buffalo, New York. Charles served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Wyoming, USS Rochester, and USS Missouri where he learned his electrical trade. Charles worked at Meyer Memorial Hospital as a Chief Engineer for 21 years. Charles then pursed a job at Cornell Aeronautical Laboratories where he spent 7 years as an Engineer. He also had a Business called Milks Electric, and a small appliance repair business in New York. Charles then moved his family to Rio Rancho, New Mexico in 1972. In Rio Rancho he worked for Amrep Corporation as customer relations of new homes. He had a Business on Rio Rancho called Milks Mechanical Maintenance. He was the offered a job as Chief Engineer of the Four Season in Albuquerque. After Several years he then went to work for Borden Dairies on Albuquerque as Chief Engineer. He retired in 1989 for Borden Dairies. Charles is survived by four children, Dennis C. Milks and wife Linda, Marlene J. Hayes, Dana P. Milks, Charles H. Milks Jr. and wife Regina; grandchildren, Sean Milks, Harmony and husband Taylor, Raiff, Steven and Brian; great granddaughters, Gianna, Sofia, and Lexie; sister Jeanette Perkins of Delevan, New York.

A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2018- 3:00 PM at All Saints Lutheran Church, 4800 All Saints Rd., NW Albuquerque, NM 87120. In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Charles's honor to All Saints Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
