David Blane Gallant passed away peacefully in Bernalillo, New Mexico on January 23, 2021 at the age of 63.
David is survived by his wife, Sarah Lynn Gallant of Bernalillo, New Mexico; his children, Jaime Watson (Keith Watson) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, David L. Gallant of Dayton, Ohio, Justin Gallant (Jenny Gallant) of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Raymond Schall (Alexia Courtois) of Bernalillo, New Mexico, Adam Schall of Bernalillo, New Mexico, Kendra Schall of Chesapeake, Virginia, Kayla Holt (Anthony Holt) of Shreveport, Louisiana; brother, James V. Gallant of Amarillo, Texas; sister, Barbara Thibodeau of Las Vegas, Nevada; nephews, Shawn Thibodeau; Benjamin Thibodeau (Tegan Thibodeau); Michael Thibodeau (Carrie Thibodeau); Mathew Thibodeau (Kristen Thibodeau); niece, Vicki Barron; niece, Brandi Gallant; sister-in-law, Jan Merilatt (Tim Merilatt); sister-in-law, Judy Anderson; brother-in-law, Thomas Anderson (Jan Anderson); 16 grandchildren, and many pets. He is preceded in death by his father, James S. Gallant; mother, Mary Ann Emerson Gallant; sister, Debra Babbs; niece, Michelle Thibodeau; brother-in-law, Joseph Thibodeau; nephew, Joseph Thibodeau Jr.; and brother-in-law, Terry Conger.
David was born on September 19, 1957 in Bangor, Maine to James S. Gallant and Mary Anne Emerson Gallant. He graduated from Bangor High School. He joined the Army branch for one year ranking as a private. He married Sarah Lynn Anderson on June 18, 1994 in Rio Rancho, New Mexico for 26 beautiful years. David worked at AAA Propane and Amerigas for over 29 years. He loved to go hunting and fishing. He was part of the Bernalillo Congregation of the Jehovah Witnesses.
