Dora Martinez

MARTINEZ - Dora Aragon Martinez, age 82, beloved and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, was called to her heavenly home by the Lord, Saturday, October 16, 2010, while surrounded by her loving family. Dora was born in Wagon Mound, NM to the late Frutoso and Dorothea Aragon and was a resident of Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her husband Pete Martinez; son, Paul Martinez; grandson, Jesse Martinez; and a granddaughter, Jacqueline Aragon. Dora is survived by her loving children, Patrick and wife Debi, Philip and wife Lorraine, Peter, Jo Madeline Montoya, Perry and wife Margie, Steve, Mary Ann Olguin, Rita Turner and husband Ruben, Barbara Gallegos and husband Robert, Benny; 41 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; her brother, Joe Benny Aragon; sister, Rita Aragon; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dora will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose hearts she touched. Visitations will be Thursday, October 21, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 820 Broadway Blvd., SE, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. also at the Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Dominic Martinez, Peter Martinez, Aron Martinez, Francisco Martinez, Carlos Aragon, and Laudy Montoya. Honorary Bearers will be Peter Martinez, Anthony Martinez, Julius Gallegos, Isaac Martinez, Christopher Aragon, Andrew Aragon, Vincent Martinez, Joseph Montoya, Angelo Martinez and Adam Martinez.
