Elisha Gene Archie, 37, entered into the arms of her Savior on September 5, 2021 in Rio Rancho, NM.

Born March 11, 1984 in Albuquerque, NM, Elisha gave her life to God at the age of two. It was at the same tender age that God put the gift of song in her. Throughout her life she lived a life to please God. At the age of 14, Elisha joined the worship team at her childhood church. She graduated from Highland high school in 2002. In 2009, Elisha joined the worship team, where God began to prepare her to step into her destiny. At the age of 23, Elisha was diagnosed with kidney failure and began dialysis. After 5 years on dialysis, Elisha received a kidney transplant. This caused Elisha to be a passionate advocate for organ donation. In getting diagnosed, Elisha continued her education graduating from the University of New Mexico with her bachelor’s in nutrition and dietetics in 2016. She continued her education at Liberty University pursuing a Master’s in Public Health. In 2016, Elisha joined her current church, Promise Land Apostolic Ministries; where in the month of August that same year she was ordained as the Music Minister. Elisha started her own business, My Sister Cleans, with a vision to employ women needing a stepping stone out of various obstacles. She operated he business with a great passion and forged long lasting relationships with clients who dearly cared for her. For the last five years of her life, Elisha served faithfully at Promise Land Apostolic Ministries in music, servanthood, and leadership. She furthered her served selflessly as the junior-high school teacher at Academy of Promise where she touched all her students’ lives. In August of 2021, Elisha stepped into the fullness of God as He called her to lead worship for a conference. It was one of the final prophecies fulfilled in her life. Elisha will be remembered for her love for God, the heart of a worshipper, and her infectious bubbly spirit. 

 

Elisha is preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Norma Archie, and cousins, Ebonie and Joseph Butler. Elisha leaves her legacy through her mother, Debra Archie of Albuquerque, NM; sisters, Nastassia Archie, Jennifer (Brian) Bratcher, Lavina Buffaloe, all of Rio Rancho, NM; brother, Larry Buffaloe, Jr.; nieces, Brooke, Keira, Mya, and Bryanna; nephews, Owen, Zachary, D’angelo, and Terrell; her grandfather, JB Archie of Albuquerque, NM; her aunts, Sandra Archie and Martha (Jerry) Thrasher of Albuquerque, NM; uncles, Allan Archie of Albuqueruqe, NM and Edward (Betty) Archie of Bluewater, NM; father, Larry Buffaloe of Rio Rancho, NM; cousins, Cynthia, Gilbert, Edward, Jr., and Tera; PLAM Family, Apostle Idella Drummond, Pastor Lawrence and First Lady Michelle Dean, Wendy Lavata’i-Sagato, Cesar and Erica Rodriguez, Curtis and Sophia Moreland, Mayleene Eldridge and son, Zackoria, Evan Shoats-Weaks, Stephanie Cordova and children, Isaiah and Sophia, Stephanie Lovato, Derek O’Neill, Flora (Nana) Martinez, Selena Cordova, Sheryl Roy, Destiny Rodriguez, Makei Lavata'i, Sr.; her students of Academy of Promise, Elias, Milena, Sabrina, Rocco, Makei, Serenity, Joseph, Makeilah, Amer’ah, Poiema, and Amorae, as well as many family and friends.

Services will be held Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 11am at Promise Land Apostolic Ministries, 909 36th Place, Suite D, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
