Evelyn Jeanette Templeton

Evelyn Jeannette Templeton, age 90, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on September 17, 2020. She was born on December 2, 1929 in Lewiston, ID.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roger. She is survived by her children, Deborah Hale and husband David, Roger Templeton Jr. and wife Sandra, Robert Templeton and wife Trish, John Templeton and wife Stacey; twelve grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

Evelyn earned her BA from Washington State College in 1951. After graduating, she joined her husband Roger in Idaho before moving to Albuquerque in 1959. 

Aside from being a loving wife and mother, Evelyn enjoyed being involved with St John’s Episcopal Cathedral.  She was also very involved in several Masonic organizations, including the Job’s Daughters, of which she was past Grand Guardian, as well as an active member of the Daughters of the Nile.

Evelyn and Roger will be interred at Vista Verde Memorial Park.
