Garrett Ernest Bennett

Garrett Ernest Bennett, age 44, was called to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday March 25, 2021. He was born on August 28, 1976 in San Antonio Texas. He was a member of Scared Heart Catholic Church. He graduated from Cibola High School in 1995. He worked for LifeRoots for fifteen years and then he worked for Share Your Care for four years. He was a service coordinator there for three years. He loved his job and taking care of his peps. He survived by his wife Valerie J. Bennett of 16 years, three sons Jaydan 20 years old, Xavier 13 years old and Garrett jr. 11 years old. He also survived by his mother-in-law Lorraine D. Gonzales, sister-in-law Pamela Gonzales, brother-in-law Diego Gonzales and girlfriend Vanessa Fajardo, sister-in-law Jennifer Lopez and husband Leonard. He also survived by his nephews Fernando and girlfriend Kassandra, Leroy and girlfriend Destiny, Israel, James and Diego III jr, and nieces Lorissa, Miranda, Delilah, who is also his Goddaughter, Leandra, AbriElla, and Jazeray. Also by grandpa Raymond Montoya, aunties, uncles and cousins. Garrett preceded in death by his parents Garrett E. Bennett and Pat A. Sexton, Grandparents Adria A. and Myron E. Petty, Father-in-law Diego F. Gonzales, Grandparents Efren and Flora Gonzales, and Josie B. Montoya, uncle Lawrence Martinez, auntie Mary Maldonado, and cousin Mario Ruiz. He will be terribly missed by his family and close friends who loved him so much. Until we meet again in Jesus Christ Our Lord. Pallbearers will be Jaydan Bennett, Diego Gonzales, Leonard Lopez, Fernando Gonzales, Leroy Gonzales, and Lorissa Lopez. Honorary pallbearers will be Xavier and Garrett jr. Bennett, Miranda Gonzales , and James Archunde, Delilah and Diego III jr. Gonzales, and Israel and Leandra Lopez, and AubreyElla and Jazerey Gonzales.

Services will be held at Scared Heart Church on April 9th. Viewing at 8:30am, Rosary at 9am a Mass will follow. He will be laid to at the Vista Verde memorial park.
