House, Hugh Bradford "Brad"
Brad House, also known as Hugh B. House, began life August 21, 1932, and spent the next 21 years in Kaycee, Wyoming, a time which, he once told me, was Edenic. Then followed two years in the Army in Germany, a Master's degree from the University of Wyoming, time in Antarctica with the International Geophysical Year, four years in Jamaica with the Peace Corps, and then a long career in zoo related positions, beginning with the Bronx Zoo and ending with a firm based in Cambridge, Mass., that designed zoos and aquaria internationally. He retired to Albuquerque, where he died April 26, 2021, after a three day illness.

He was my brother and I will miss him, as will many others. If you would like to do something in his memory, a donation to the Hoofprints of the Past Museum, 344 Nolan Ave, PO Box 114, Kaycee, WY 82639 (Phone: 307-738-2381) would be appropriate as his heart always remained in Kaycee, as will his ashes.
