Ignacio Montano

It is with great sorrow that the Montano family announces the passing of Ignacio Montano on March 13, 2021 in Albuquerque New Mexico. Ignacio Montano immigrated to the United States in 1974.  In 1976 met his future wife, Irma Robles Sanchez and married in 1978.  Ignacio & Irma did not have children but had a strong committed love for each other for 42 years. In 1982 he acquired his Real Estate License and in 1984 his Contractor license in California. He bought run down homes, fixed them, sold them and did that for about 10 years. In 1995 moved to New Mexico and also acquired his Real Estate License and Contractor license and began building new homes in 1997. In the last 20 years he acquired his Plumbing license, Electrical license, Mechanical license, Mobile home license and was self employed for 38 years. He loved building new homes for people it was something he enjoyed very much, it was his passion. Loved talking to people about the homes he built. He took pride in his work. Ignacio was a very intelligent man, His thirst for knowledge was evident with everything he did. One of the things he was known for was finding solutions to difficult problems and for his optimism. Always willing to help family, friends and acquaintances by sharing his knowledge,  always had a simple way of explaining anything. He loved talking about business, investments, construction, and many other subjects. Ignacio was a very special person who had charisma and an attraction that drew people to him for his integrity, honesty, sincerity and knowledge, he was a man of his word and will be greatly missed by all. He is survived by his wife Irma Montano, his brother's and sisters, David Montano, Ricardo Montano, Claudia Montano Macias, Hilda Montano, Laura Pantoja, Marco Antonio Montano, Luis Montano and Gabriela Montano Marron.
