James "Jim" Joseph White of Rio Rancho, NM, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 surrounded by loved ones at the age of 59.
Always the life of the party, but never one to seek the limelight, Jim's sense of humor will be most missed by all who knew him. His rare gift to make everyone in any and every room he entered funnier is unparalleled. Despite the obstacles Jim faced, he was always positive, always supportive, and always the epitome of generosity.
Jim was born on April 24, 1961 to Janice and Thomas White in New York. He attended St. Francis College in Loretto, PA where he met the love of his life, Elizabeth. Until his last breath--Jim and Elizabeth were an unbelievable team--they cared for and supported one another while raising three daughters-- never wavering in their devotion to one another.
Jim is survived by his wife Elizabeth (nee Gorry), daughters Alison, Katie (Schrader) and Rose, grandson Henry Follett White, mother Janice, brothers Tim and John, and sister Kathy, among many inlaws, nieces and nephews. Jim is preceded in death by his father Thomas, brothers Thomas and Joe, and in-laws Helen and Elmer Gorry.
