Jeff J. Bourguet

BOURGUET- Jeff J. Bourguet, born in Monticello, NM in 1922, went home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on February 1, 2020. Jeff moved to Albuquerque in 1945 and married Julia Ortega in 1949, his wife of 62 years before her death in 2010. Jeff is survived by his daughter, Judy Spear and husband Jerry; sons Alfred J. Bourguet and Jake Bourguet and wife Daiana; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Jeff was preceded in death by his wife, Julia and by his children Jeff J. Bourguet, Jr., Gerald L. Bourguet and Janelle Marie Bourguet. Jeff was a kind and generous man who always thanked God for the countless blessings in his life, marriage and family. He worked for AT&SF Railroad as an Inspector for 38 years. He was also a co-founder with his brother, Napoleon, of the Bourguet Brothers Band and they performed for 70 years. He served in the Army and was also a Legislative Assistant in Santa Fe for 21 years.

Visitation will be at 6:15 PM with a Rosary to follow at 7 PM, on Friday, February 7th at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW 87105. Final Visitation will be from 8:00 to 8:30 AM with Mass of the Resurrection to follow at 9 AM on Saturday, February 8th at the same location. Interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery will follow the Mass. Pallbearers will be Fred Griego, DJ Quezada, Gerald P. Bourguet, TJ Jio, Josh Abrams and Scott Downing. Honorary Pallbearers are Jerry Spear, Tony Lovato, Mike Ulibarri, Art Madrid, Alfred E.
