Jesse Phelps Leiker

At age 41, Jesse passed away Thursday, June 3, 2021. He was born in Longmont, CO on September 2, 1979, to James Leiker and Patricia Phelps . He attended Georgetown High School and graduated in the Class of 1998. He went on to receive a Bachelors degree in 2002 from Southwest Texas University with a double major in Anthropology and German. Jesse worked for the Rhino Corps of Albuquerque for the last fifteen years and spent his free time hiking, rock climbing, camping, reading, practicing riflery, zymurgy, and motor sports. Jesse is survived by his parents and one brothers. Due to the wide geographic distribution of friends and family, small memorial services will be held in New Mexico, Colorado, Texas, and Minnesota. For those unable to attend please gather with your family and friends this Fourth of July and toast his life and friendship.
