Jimmy Hill

            James (Jimmy) W. Hill was born on May 11, 1952 in Olney, IL and passed peacefully on March 12,2020 at the VA hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico. 

            Most people who really knew Jimmy knows how hard his life was and how tough he had to be living such a challenging lifestyle.  However, Jimmy was quite an intellectual.  He had an opinion about politics and the world affairs.  He enjoyed reading and having deep conversations about practically every subject known to man.  He had a very tender heart that rarely revealed to anyone.  Compassion wasn’t his strong suit outwardly.  But, he was a caring and loving man. 

            Jimmy served in the US Army.  His best friend was his loving dog Smokey.  Jimmy and Smokey would sit and watch hunting and fishing show’s on TV.  Jimmy you will truly be missed by many.  Love You

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents.  Dorethea and James Hill.

Jimmy is survived by his wife Margaret Ann Hill

Daughters: Octavia Owens, Maedella Brignac Zadella Samuels. Son Cleo Young. Siblings: Charlie Hill, Cordelia Hill and Husband Harold Reid, Janet Hill-King, Eddie Hill and wife Syliva Hill.  11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 6 nieces’s, 5 nephews.
