Jose Ignacio Albillar

Jose Ignacio Albillar 89, was born May 17th 1929 in Albuquerque NM. He is the son of his late parents Adelicio and Margaret.

In his life Jose worked on many projects from the Apollo space program to cancer research.  He gave his children the skills to work on everything from carpentry to auto mechanics and electronics, but more importantly the drive to learn additional skills on their own. In his later life he became grandpa to everyone.

 Jose is survived by his wife Dorothy Albillar, 6 children, 21 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Children: Joseph, Orlando, Michael, Karl, Marie, & Gina.  Grandchildren: Damian, Jarred, Alexis, Tina, Mike, Christy, Rusty, Katrynna, Joseph, Joshua, Shari, Alexander, Rachel, Harry, AJ, Cody, Sarah, Christian, Alfred, Jacob, & Henry.  Great Grandchildren: Emily, Andrew, Alek, Tommy, Brady, DJ, Dylan, Madison, Ethan, Faith, Brendon, Karma, Unique, Riley, Colton, Amelia, & Georgia.

Mass will be held Tuesday August 14th 9:00 am at the Shrine of Saint Bernadette church 11509 Indian School Road NE, Albuquerque NM 87112.  Reception immediately following mass in the parish hall adjacent to the church.  Burial services to follow at Sandia Memory Gardens Cemetery, 9500 San Pedro NE Albuquerque NM 87113.
