Joyce Ruby Clark

Joyce Ruby Clark, 90, peacefully passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019. Born in her family home overlooking the bay in Newport News, Virginia on August 7, 1928, she attended the University of Michigan graduating in 1950 with a Bachelor's degree in Education. 

She and husband, Charles, moved to Albuquerque in 1950 where he was employed by Sandia Laboratories for the next 38 years while she excelled as a homemaker and mother. She became an elementary school teacher in 1970, working at Montgomery and Apache Elementary Schools. She retired from APS in 1988.

She and Charlie enjoyed rallying with the Sports Car Club of Albuquerque. She is survived by sons Jim and Glen; daughters Carol and Beverly; 8 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
