Julius C. Weitz

Julius C. Weitz, age 94, passed away in Rio Rancho, NM on Thursday, February 6, 2020.  He was born March 6, 1925 in New York City to Solomon Weitz and Rose Sonenstein.  Julius graduated from Cooper Union with a degree in engineering.  In 1948, he started his own machine shop, K. L. Steven Company.  He moved the business and his family to New Mexico in 1976.  He achieved more success here in Rio Rancho.  He grew the company and became a well respected member of the community.  

He is survived by family, many friends, and the business he so loved.
