Lillie B. Romero

ROMERO - Lillie Romero, age 73, beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, completed her journey on this earth and entered into Eternal Life with the Lord, Tuesday, February 8, 2011, while surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born in Domingo, NM and was a resident of Bernalillo, where she was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Lillie was current president of the Blue Army Society, past member of the Catholic Daughters, and was a Eucharistic Minister. Lillie loved her Church and her family. She also enjoyed going to the casino. She was preceded in death by her son, Fredrick Eugene Romero. Lillie is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Gasper Romero; her wonderful children, Olivia Muniz and husband Victor Jr., Veronica Montoya, Eleanor, Cathy, and Lucy Romero and Gabriel Romero and fiancée Gena Montano; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; eleven siblings; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Lillie will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched. Visitations will be Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Bernalillo, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Casket Bearers will be Lorenzo Crespin, Aaron DeLara, Jonathon Archuleta, Victor Muniz, Jr., Ronald Aragon, II, and Leonard Gutierrez. Honorary Bearers will be Eric Montano, Dominic DeLara, and Emilio Romero.
