Loren L. Condit

Loren L. Condit, 78, beloved husband of Patricia, passed away on the morning of October 04, 2019 after a short illness.

Loren was born June 01, 1941 in Des Moines, Iowa. He graduated from Nederland High School (Colorado) in 1959 and then served 6 years in the United States Army. 

Professionally, he had a varied career with much of it centered around his love of motorcycles, cars, trucks - anything with a motor that could be made to go faster.

Loren and Pat were married on November 14, 1981 in Las Vegas NV. He became a father to her adult children; Sharon, Steve, and Kenny. 

Loren and his favorite niece Danette had fun at Lakeside Amusement Park, where they enjoyed both stock car racing and roller coasters. 

Sharon shared this comment, Loren always treated and loved me like a birth parent. Whenever I called on the phone and asked what he was doing he said, "waiting for your call."  He was kind and loving to our Mom. He had a great sense of humor and liked to tease. I will miss him so much!  

He was also an active member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association, enjoying the socializing and camaraderie of good friends.

To Loren, a stranger was just a friend he hadn't met yet, and if you needed help with anything, he was there for you. 

Pat's last anniversary card to Loren read:

"To my patriotic husband who loves his country, and served it well as a young man, who joined the Patriot Guard Riders and completed more than 100 services. Who faithfully salutes the flag and repeats the Pledge of Allegiance at every event. Who attends memorial services for those who also served with respect. 

This is also a man who offers his help to friends and family wherever and whenever it is needed. Also the love of my life, who married me 37 years ago, and made my life complete. Who also accepted my children and family with friendship and love. 

I love you sweetie, and always will.you made me whole."
