Madalena Pacheco

Madalena (Lena) Pacheco, 45, raised in Questa, NM, and a resident of Rio Rancho, NM, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2021.  

Lena was preceded in death by her Grandparents Elva and Frutoso Vialpando; Grandparents Martha and Philip Trujillo; Aunt Marcella Cisneros; Uncle Philip Trujillo; and Cousins Gilbert Cisneros, Veto Vialpando and Fritz Vialpando III.

Lena is survived by her husband Robert Pacheco; parents, Rose and John Vialpando; Sister, Yvonne Trujillo (Brian); Sister, Elizabeth Poe (Daniel); Brother, Philip Vialpando (Amanda); Nieces, Alexandra, Mikayla and Nevaeh Poe, Shea Trujillo, and Stephanie and Scarlett Vialpando; Nephews, Nathaniel Trujillo and Logan Vialpando; In-laws, Julie and Pablo Pacheco; Brother in-law, Gabe Pacheco (Mark); many other Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends; and her pets. Choco, Chula, Blue and her Glo Family.

Lena was an amazing wife, daughter, sister, aunt, godmother and friend. She was the strongest and most resilient woman that her family and friends will ever know. She loved cooking and baking, doing nails, playing games, her pets, and most of all being with her family. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts!

—The strongest people are not those that show strength in front of others but those that win battles we know nothing about.

Open visitation and viewing will be held Tuesday, October 26, 2021, 5:00 - 6:30 pm, Daniels Family Funeral Services - Southern Chapel, 2400 Southern Blvd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 6:30pm.

Mass will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2021, 11:00am, St Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114.
