Morton Stone

Morton Stone, age 95, passed away March 23, 2020. He was born in Chicago, Illinois in June 1924. He proudly served in the Army during World War 2 and later in Korea. He received an Associate's Degree afterwards and married Jeanette (Sandy) Aronson in 1946. They had two children, a son Marc (living in Moriarty, NM) and a daughter Merle (living in Pomeroy, WA).  Morton worked in several businesses in Chicago until 1991 when he retired to Laguna Woods, CA. Jeanette passed away in 1996 and he later settled into a second relationship with Renee Wassier of France. In 2009, with dementia impacting his ability to live on his own, he moved in with his son in Moriarty, NM.
Morton is survived by his two children; son-in-law Jesse Cervantes; sister-in-law Faith Aronson; and numerous distant relatives. 
Once Coronavirus is over, there will be an interment of his ashes in California at Eden Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers or cards, please post your comments on the “wall” of this website.
