Nancy Meyer

March 21, 1934-November 5, 2019

Nancy B. Meyer, 85, of Socorro New Mexico passed away on November 5, 2019. Nancy was a strong and independent woman who raised three sons while operating an in-home daycare and later obtained her Real Estate License, became a Real Estate Broker and opened Meyer Realty. After many successful years in real estate, Nancy retired and enjoyed her friends and family, traveling to Wyoming, Montana and Texas. Nancy’s love of photography often took her to The Bosque Del Apache where she spent many hours capturing photos of the wildlife in their natural habitat. She took great pride in the images she captured and shared them with family, friends and many local galleries. She also loved sewing and hand quilting. A celebration of life will be held at the Presbyterian Church in Socorro, NM. On Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Nancy is preceded in death by her father John Whiting; mother Missouri (Bob) Whiting, and four brothers and sisters. She is survived by her three sons, Carl (Colette) Meyer, Mark Meyer and David (Tambri) Meyer and sisters Mildred Garms and Bobby Jane Whiting as well as multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 53Years, Charles Mark Meyer.
