Rosemary Herrera

Rosemary Herrera, 76, of Rio Rancho, NM, passed away on August 5th, 2020. Rosemary passed away peacefully in her sleep.

Rosemary was born in Albuquerque, NM to Gasper Montoya and Margaret Narvaiz on June 22nd, 1944. She was a loved sister, mother, grandmother, auntie and friend. She loved the Lord Jesus with all her heart and led many people to salvation and to church. Rosemary was part of Legacy Church NM and loved studying and spreading the Word of God. She was a fearless and generous woman who was full of love and joy. She enjoyed helping family, friends and strangers alike. She also enjoyed doing puzzles, going out to eat and spending time with her family.

Rosemary is preceded in death by her parents, Gaspar and Margaret Montoya; her siblings, Louie Sanchez, Gilbert (Lalo) Montoya, Priscilla Jaramillo, and Joey Montoya. 

She is survived by daughter, Patricia Martinez and husband Daniel; son, Daniel Herrera and wife Naomi; siblings, Phillip Montoya, Gloria Webb, and Audrey Flores and husband Reyes; grandchildren, Daniel Martinez and wife Emily, Charlene Sanchez and husband Richard, Isaiah Martinez, Daniel Herrera and Adeline Herrera; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 27th, 2020 at 10am. Services will be at Legacy Church East Campus- 4701 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.
