Timothy Robert Tyler

On Wednesday May 27th, 2020, Timothy R. Tyler, loving husband and father of three, passed away at the age of 69.

Timothy was born on July 1, 1950 in Rome, NY to Berton and Helen Tyler. 

He is survived by his wife Tish, his son, Robert and his wife Jessica and their children Kaitlynn, Chase and Carley and great-grandson Steel, son William, and his sons Zach and Devon, and son Timothy Michael, his wife Dessie, and their children Stone and Presley.  He is also survived by his brothers Donald, Gerald, and Scott and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Gary, and his nephew Daryl. 

He moved to New Mexico in 1978 where he was a successful salesman. He served in the Army National Guard for 27 years where he retired as a senior leader. Throughout his life he enjoyed traveling back to New York to see his parents, brothers and their children, aunts, uncles, numerous cousins and friends.

He grew up with a love of sports which carried through his adult life. His hobbies included; playing cards, going to the casino, playing softball, skiing, traveling and spending time with friends and family. 

A viewing will be held on Wednesday June 3rd from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Daniels Sara Chapel at 4310 Sara Rd. NE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in New York.
