Todd White was born April 24, 1963 in Prescott, Arizona. He passed away on September 11, 2020 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, sister, brother, aunts and uncles.
Todd is survived by his beloved wife Tami White; sons, Joey White, Craig and Kristi White; daughter, Mela who only had the privilege to her know her Dad for six years. Grandchildren, Johnny, Mikey, Shae, Richard, Aidan, Angelica, and Cheyanne. Sister, Terri and Steve Herron; Niece, PJ; Nephew, Chris (Morgan); Mother-in-law, Teresa Genkow; as well as many other friends and relatives that are too great to mention.
Todd met his wife, Tami, in Roswell, New Mexico, where they both attended Roswell Job Corp. It was a love story from the very beginning! When it is said, “I married my High School Sweetheart,” that was true for Todd and Tami. They married in 1985 and loved each other deeply. They were married for 34 wonderful years.
Todd worked in demolition for Bycor Construction in San Diego, California for approximately 10 years. He loved his job tearing down office buildings and rebuilding them up. It gave his such satisfaction knowing he was one of the people that helped turn a dilapidated office into a beautiful site.
Todd and his family moved back to Albuquerque in 2002 to begin an easier life in a quiter city. He became a Long-Haul Truck Driver with Swift. He saw so many beautiful cities, and always looked forward to leaving on his next adventure. He was born for the road, and the road loved him.
Todd loved his family so much that when his father-in-law got sick, he quit diving and came home to help care for him. He was so saddened when his father-in-law passed away, but like a true hero he was the glue that held his wife and children together during an incredibly difficult time.
Todd was very loved and will be missed by so many.
There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date.
