Chacon, Wilfred

 

Wilfred (Goofy) Chacon, age 75 went home with the Lord on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Trinie Chacon; brothers, Henry Chacon and Kelly Chacon; sister, Shirley Lovato.

 

He is survived by his children: Greg Chacon, Lisa and husband John Lopez, Bullets and wife Cindy Chacon, Ann Marie and husband Carlos Silva; 15 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; 18 step grandchildren and great grandchildren; Yvette Wise; his best friend for 70 years, Henry and wife Irene Chavez; sister-in-law, Katy Chacon; brother-in-law, Ruben Lovato, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

 

Goofy was a member of Scared Heart Church and retired from the Department of Workforce Solutions. He enjoyed spending time with his family at the lake.

 

A Mass of the Resurrection with Father Broussard will take place on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper Ave NW. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM.
