Heartlight center Grief resources

Daniels Family Funerals & Cremations has partnered with HeartLight to provide a variety of grief support groups, educational resources, and special programs focused on healing after loss. In the weeks, months, or years ahead, we invite you, your family, and friends to connect with HeartLight Center in a way that feels meaningful and supportive to you.

HeartLight Center is a not-for-profit with a mission to provide meaningful, accessible grief support and education. HeartLight offers virtual and in-person grief support groups, workshops, seminars, and resources for individuals and organizations.
If you have experienced a loss, or are supporting someone who has had a loss, we invite you to connect with HeartLight to find helpful resources, programs and a caring community.

Loss of Spouse/Partner Support Group
An ongoing peer support and educational group for adulst (18+) who have expereienced the death of a spouse, partner or significant other. Regardless of how long ago the death occurred, you are welcome to attend.
Group meets on the first and third Monday of the month from 4:00-5:30pm at Daniels Family Funerals Wyoming Chapel.
Sudden or Traumatic Loss Support Group
An ongoing peer support and educational group for adults 18+ who have experienced an unexpected, sudden or traumatic loss.
Group meets the second Wednesday of the month from 3:30-5:00pm at Daniels Family Funerals Carlisle Chapel.
Loss of a Child Support Group
A peer support group for parents, grandparents and caregivers grieving the death loss of a child. This group explores the grief process, shares stories and discusses ways to navigate life after loss.
Group meets on the first Tuesday of the month from 3:30-5:00pm at Daniels Family Funerals Carlisle Chapel.
Substance Loss Grief Support Group
A peer based support and educational group for adults (18+) who have experienced a death loss where substance use, abuse or overdoes are part of the life or death narrative.
Group meets the first Wednesday of the month from 3:30-5:00pm at Daniels Family Funerals Alameda Chapel.
